Ricco Butler is a legend of Townsville football, winning three league best and fairest medals (1961, 1964 and 1967).
Ricco’s club, the Garbutt Magpies won 6 premierships between 1958 and 1966.
The AFL Townsville medal is named now named in Ricco’s honour.
